Barber & Associates was founded in 1978 by John and Dot Barber. Current Owner and President, Trip Barber, continues the construction family tradition while maintaining its outstanding reputation with an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Over the last four decades, we’ve grown to become a top 10 full-service roofing contractor working in four states and counting.
While we’ve grown, a few fundamentals have remained constant. We’re still a family-owned business with client commitment and quality foremost in mind on every project. We pride ourselves on being master craftsmen in our industry and we love what we do—and it shows, in both the quality of our work and in the enduring partnerships that have fueled our company’s growth.

Each job goes through a minimum of three full scale inspections prior to handing the project over to the owner, architect, or general contractor to ensure our clients are getting the best quality roofing services available.
During the project, each employee is held accountable for the quality of their work. All field personnel, supervisors and managers are regularly reviewed on a specific performance audit.
After the project, the foreman is the first line of quality assurance. The project director then inspects as to thoroughness, compliance, and completeness. After these inspections are performed, the manufacturer’s representative is scheduled for inspection procedures to ensure a sound and warrantable roof system.
John W. “Trip” Barber III holds a State Certified Roofing License and a State Certified General Contractor’s License and has more than 30 years of roofing experience. Trip joined Barber & Associates and served in numerous operational and executive leadership roles before being named president. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the company and ensures the group’s efficient and dynamic operation.
Chief Operating Officer
Brad M. Denny holds an associate degree in Building Construction and has more than 20 years of roofing and construction experience. In his role he oversees all items related to the overall effectiveness of the company’s ability to deliver projects that exceed client’s expectations.
Chief Financial Officer
Dianna Hodges is responsible for leading the financial structure of the organization, which include corporate planning, controller services, taxes, and strategic financial decisions. She has more than 36 years of significant experience in accounting, human resources, and senior finance roles. Joining Barber & Associates in 1998 she has been instrumental in building the company into what it is today.
Vice President of Operations
Brandon Campbell holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has more than 26 years of commercial roofing experience. He manages all aspects of the roof system installation and is responsible for ensuring that Barber & Associate’s high standards are maintained throughout each and every project.
Chief Estimator/Contracts Administrator
Matt Michelsen holds an associate degree and has more than 15 years of commercial roofing experience. With exceptional attention to detail, he oversees all commercial estimating; from lead selection and distribution, to reviewing take-offs and proposals.
Vice President of Central Florida
Austin Dekle holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in business. He joined Barber & Associates from outside the industry bringing 12 years of experience in marketing and brand management.
General Manager Central Florida
Tim Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in business and has more than 40 years of commercial roofing experience.
Ben Liebtag has more than 22 years of commercial roofing experience. He brings a wealth of experience to the team including time worked with manufacturers, suppliers, and other roofing contractors. At Barber and Associates, he handles key accounts, lead generation, and project management.

John Soto has more than 27 years of commercial roofing experience.
